What does gradient compression hosiery do?

Medical gradient compression stockings improve venous and lymphatic blood flow. THERAFIRM stockings are designed to deliver a controlled amount of pressure, which is greatest at the ankle of the garment and gradually decreases towards the top of the stocking. This gradient pressure promotes better venous blood flow, which in turn helps to control swelling, varicosities, leg fatigue and other problematic leg conditions

Who should wear gradient compression hosiery?

People who have or are experiencing any of the following conditions can benefit from wearing gradient compression hosiery:

    • Tired, aching, fatigued legs
    • Swollen feet, ankles and legs
    • People who stand or sit for long periods
    • Chronic venous insufficiency
    • Moderate to severe varicose veins
    • Expectant mothers
    • Schlerotherapy
    • Lymphedema
    • Overweight

Additionally, many individuals without the preceding conditions simply appreciate wearing our gradient compression hosiery. Most people love the way they make their legs feel. Always consult with your physician before wearing compression stockings.

FAQ’s about the Service

Q1. Are these just for elderly people?
Not at all! They are great for anyone who stands all day, travels frequently, or wants to prevent varicose veins.
Q2. How do they work?
hey apply gentle pressure to your legs to help blood flow back toward your heart, reducing swelling and "heavy legs."
Q3. Are they hard to put on?
Medical-grade stockings are firm, but we will teach you the proper technique and can provide "donning" aids if needed.
Q4. Do they look like "grandma socks"?
No! Modern compression wear comes in many styles, including athletic socks, sheer stockings, and stylish patterns.
Q5. Can I sleep in them?
Generally, no. They are designed to be worn while you are upright and active during the day.
Q6. Why do I need a measurement?
For compression to be therapeutic, it must be the right pressure level for your size. We take precise measurements for a perfect fit.
